Having first entered the master-planned community building market in the mid-1990s with Idaho’s first New Urbanist inspired development, Hidden Springs Community, Grossman continues to break ground in desirable locations.
Nestled in the scenic foothills just 6 miles northwest of Boise, Cartwright Ranch is a fully entitled 680-acre master-planned community with over 440 acres of natural open space preserved with conservation easements and 24 acres of developed parks. Construction on the first phase of Cartwright Ranch began in 2015 consisting of 40 single family residential lots. In 2021, the final remaining plat will record bringing the sum total to 571 residential lots. Cartwright Ranch also features a best-in-class pool and fitness center and an extensive network of hiking and biking trails. An additional community center building and a neighborhood retail building will be completed in 2021. The project sits adjacent to Hidden Springs (also developed by Grossman Company Properties), a nationally recognized sustainable planned community and recipient of the 2000 Best Smart Growth Award from the National Association of Home Builders.
