rossman Company Properties began its entry into the real estate development field with the purchase of Phoenix Spectrum Mall in the early 1960's. Grossman later acquired Biltmore Fashion Park and began a complete transformation of the center by tripling its size, creating a lush, park-like setting and attracting one-of-a-kind retailers such as Gucci, Saks, Luis Vuitton and Escada to the Valley. Since that time Grossman has owned and operated more than 4 million square feet of super regional malls, open air specialty centers, upscale boutique shopping centers, neighborhood and power centers.
Specializing in the redevelopment of these centers through expansions and renovations, Grossman became well known by all major retailers for its ability to improve the sales performance and enhance the tenant mix. Grossman further solidified its reputation as a leader and innovator in the retail industry by negotiating and completing the first in-line Wal-Mart Super Center and Costco Wholesale to anchor an enclosed regional mall.
