Chairman

As the founding principal of Grossman Company Properties, Sam began his real estate career with the purchase of Chris-Town Mall in the early 1960s and eventually built a portfolio of commercial properties including shopping centers, office buildings, hotels and resorts, multi-family residential and agricultural land. He attended UCLA and Stanford University and was Arizona’s Democratic candidate for the United States Senate in 1970. Sam is a well known commercial real estate lecturer and has spoken in various cities around the world, including Rio, Sydney, Acapulco, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, and major cities throughout the United States. He is a graduating member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a member of the Chief Executive Organization, a retired member of the Board of Trustees of the United States Ski Team, and Founder of the Arizona Biltmore Children’s Charities. He is also a past council member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.

Sam, who has had a life-long interest in health and nutrition, completed his book Win the Food Fight and released it nationally in 1989. The publication appeared on a number of best seller lists. In 1995, Sam also released an audio book entitled The 10 Commandments of Making It On Your Own.




Vice Chairman

Chuck, a product of Arizona State University, was appointed President of Grossman Company Properties in 1976 after having joined Grossman in April of 1967 as Vice President of Operations. He was appointed Vice Chairman in 1995. Prior to his employment at Grossman, Chuck was Vice President and Senior Title Officer of Lawyers Title of Arizona, having advanced to that title at the youngest age ever in the history of the company.

Chuck has been involved in various organizations including the Young Presidents’ Organization, International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, Shopping Center Industry Political Action Committee, Land Title Association, and the Right-of-Way Association. He has been on the boards and committees of the Foundation of Senior Living, the Hidden Springs Community School, Xavier High School Board and the Diocese of Phoenix Financial Development Committee.





President and Chief Executive Officer

Matt has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Grossman Company Properties since joining the firm in 1991. Prior to his position with GCP he was an investment banker in New York and one of the founders of Citicorp Investment Bank’s International Real Estate Finance Group. Mr. Crow received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He graduated with honors with a BA degree in Islamic History and a BBA degree in Management also from UT-Austin. He is the past-President of the Board of Directors of the Urban Land Institute – Arizona District Council, and has served on the Board of Trustees of the Heard Museum, as Vice Chairman of the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, and President of Biltmore Area Partners. Matt is currently a member of Young Presidents’ Organization.





President - Grossman Family Foundation

Jim was the founder and developer of Hidden Springs, Idaho, a 1,700- acre, 865-home, national award winning and environmentally sensitive master planned community in Northwest Boise. He also originated Boise’s first non-parochial independent K-12 school now known as Riverstone International School. He is currently developing Eagle River, a 100-acre, mixed-use project including St. Alphonsus Medical Center, a Hilton Garden Inn, and many other financial, retail and office tenants. Jim graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Colorado College, where he was also a 2 year college All American Skier. Jim was chairman of and organized the World Special Olympics Winter Games in Idaho in 2009.





Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Ennis Dale joined Grossman Company Properties in March of 1995 as Senior Vice President. Ennis had previously served as Corporate Counsel and Senior Vice President of one of the country’s largest title insurance companies and as President of its real estate development subsidiary. Prior to that, he was responsible for the successful financial restructuring of one of the southwest’s largest real estate development and homebuilding companies and refinancing in excess of $500 million of debt.

Ennis received his LLM (Taxation) from New York University in 1982, a Juris Doctorate, with Distinction, from Indiana University in 1969, as well as a BBA and MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan in 1965 and 1966 respectively.





Senior Vice President - Construction and Operations

Stan Gray joined GCP in 1973 and in his current capacity he oversees all construction activities, including expansions, renovations, tenant improvements and environmental issues. Prior to his present position with GCP, Stanley served as Director of Operations for Chris-Town Mall. Throughout his tenure at Grossman, Stan has directly supervised the multi-million dollar expansions of several malls and office buildings, as well as the complete renovation and expansion of both the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa and the Arizona Grand Resort. Stan is a graduate of the American General Contractors Association for Project Management.





Senior Vice President - Management

Anne has been involved in a wide range of management duties within the Grossman organization since 1980. Currently, she oversees the management and marketing of the individual properties as well as coordinates the corporate reporting requirements to our various partners. Anne’s past positions with Grossman Company Properties includes General Manager of Biltmore Fashion Park, Town & Country, Chris-Town Mall and Tri-City Mall, and Marketing Director of Chris-Town Mall.

Anne is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science degree and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She actively participates in the International Council of Shopping Centers education programs and has served as the ICSC State Operations Chair. Anne serves on the Board of the Arizona Retailers Association.





Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Larry Coltharp joined Grossman Company Properties in 2005 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Larry oversees all financial, treasury, tax and information technology functions. Larry brings over 30 years of experience to the company, having started his career in public accounting as an auditor with Touche Ross & Co. in New Orleans and Atlanta. He later held Director of Finance and Controller positions with several leading Fortune 500 and Fortune 500-equivalent international organizations in the Atlanta area.

Larry graduated with honors from the University of Louisiana-Monroe with a Bachelors of Business Administration (majoring in Accounting). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, having passed the exam on his first sitting. Larry is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Companies and Financial Executives International.




Vice President – Development Projects

John joined Grossman Company Properties in 2009 as Vice President and Senior Project Manager. After graduating from the University of Colorado, John joined Work Force Housing Associates, a San Francisco developer specializing in residential in-fill projects throughout the Bay Area. Following two years with Work Force Housing Associates, John attended the University of New South Wales and received his Masters in Real Estate. While completing his studies, John was engaged by Greengate Property Group, a Sydney based developer that specialized in design management and development of Senior Living accommodations. During his four years with Greengate, John managed the redevelopment of more than 500 independent, assisted and nursing care units. John is a member of Urban Land Institute and maintains a strong passion for competitive sports having won the 2003 World Surf Kayaking Champion.
