Biltmore Fashion Park
Located in the heart of the prestigious Camelback Corridor, Biltmore Fashion Park was initially developed in 1963 but truly lacked in any degree of success until it was purchased and redeveloped by Grossman Company Properties in 1978. In 1980, GCP began a multi-phased renovation and expansion to the upscale center with the addition of 100,000 square feet of retail space and the transformation of the common areas into a relaxing, park-like setting complete with brick walkways, fountains and lush landscaping. In 1986 the center was again expanded with the construction of a two-level, 64,000 square foot east-end mall addition which focused on exclusive restaurant tenants. By 1991 additional modifications were completed and a three-level expandable parking pavilion was added bringing the total gross leasable area to 675,000 square feet.
During Grossman's ownership, Biltmore Fashion Park achieved a reputation as an outstanding dining destination as evidenced by the success of Oscar Taylor's, RoxSand Transcontinental Cuisine, Steamers Genuine Seafood and Ayako of Tokyo. Biltmore Fashion Park continues to boast an impressive tenant mix including Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Polo by Ralph Lauren as well as many other high-end and one-of-a-kind retailers. Because of the exceptionally high sales per square foot achieved at Biltmore, its success and reputation are known industry-wide.
