Hidden Springs Community
Located less than 20 minutes from downtown Boise, Hidden Springs is a rural, master-planned community nestled in the grandeur of the Boise foothills and fashioned in the tradition of Idaho's small towns. The development was founded by Jim Grossman in the mid-1990's with a focus on maintaining the rural character and natural beauty of the Dry Creek Valley through preservation and environmental sensitivity. The master plan includes more than 1,000 single-family homes, on-site retail and educational facilities, 800 acres of preserved open space, including a farm, riparian areas, wildlife refuge, miles of trails, parks, playgrounds and lushly landscaped greens.
The Hidden Springs land plan emphasizes the protection and enhancement of the natural environment. Design standards and guidelines ensure that the land and homes are developed compatibly with the environmental systems of the area. Many distinctive features differentiate Hidden Springs from all other communities in the Boise market including extensive street landscaping, traditional neighborhood designs with an amenity package that facilitates strong community interaction and participation, a general store, café and post office, public and private school sites, extensive trail systems, fire/sheriff station, play fields, and a large community center.
